“The online form has been developed as part of our commitment to continue improving the way we deliver our services to the community,” the FWC said in a media release.
According to the FWC, the online form was designed with an auto-fill function to make it easier for those filing a claim. It also has prompts to help provide the information needed to make a complete application as well as links to other resources that might help the individual filing a claim.
Lodging a dismissal application
To lodge an application, users just need to set up an account at the OLS and follow the prompts to get started.
Using the OLS allows users to save applications and return to them later, view a history of submitted applications, and review and download previously filed claims, according to the FWC.
“After you lodge an application, you will receive a lodgment confirmation email. This includes a survey link you can use to provide feedback on the OLS,” the commission said.
